Serena Williams Meltdown — Serena Attacks Judge During U.S. Open (VIDEO)
Serena Williams had a meltdown — that cost the tennis ace a match on a conduct violation — after an unusual call at the U.S. Open on Saturday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Serena berated an official and lost a match to Kim Cjisters from Belgium during their Women’s Semi-Final US Open match at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York over the weekend — the judge claims the Grand Slam champ threatened to kill her following a dispute over a call.

Her press conference said it all, she didn’t even apologize for her behavior, and her explanation was incoherent at best. incidentally when she was with the folks that decided to disqualify her for sportsmanship and she was lying through her teeth about not threatening to kill the lines person someone from the audience yelled out “yes you did” you can hear it. I can’t think of any other sport that would have let an athlete get away with it, she should have been banned from playing doubles.
it gives the sport a bad name, if you have to resort smashing rackets and threats to win a match to win a match then maybe it is time to change you sport maybe she should take up wrestling she’d do well there.
