Selena Gomez: “Mom, Dad, I Love You. You’re Fired!”

Get ready for an awkward Thanksgiving at Casa de Gomez!

Selena Gomez is now 21 and coming into her own as an singer/actress. And that means it’s time for some tough decisions for the “Who Says?” hit-maker.

First order of business: Dumping the ‘rents.

Gomez fired her mom and stepdad, Mandy and Brian Teefey, as her managers last month after “outgrowing” them, sources close to the starlet have squealed to TMZ. Selena’s decision is reportedly not motivated by an family in-fighting — but her folks still aren’t happy about being ousted. After all, the Teefeys have managed their daughter from her first role as part of the cast of Barney and Friends through her days on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place.

As Drake would say: “Started from the bottom, now…” Well, you know the rest.

Word on the curb is Selena’s now on the hunt for a “seasoned professional manager with other A-list clients.” Ouch — way to twist the knife, Gomez.

Well, Justin Bieber could always lend his lady love his manager, Scooter Braun. Maybe “momager” Kris Jenner can make room on her roster to embrace a client who she didn’t breastfeed?

There’s speculation that Selena’s on-again off-again relationship with Bieber (which, last we checked, was pretty on-again) may have played a part in the split. Selena’s parents are “vehemently” opposed to her romance with the pop stud — whose antics of late include a felony vandalism investigation and a highly-publicized arrest for reckless driving.

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Mr. and Mrs. Teefey also blame Justin for Selena’s quiet stint in rehab. In January, it was revealed that the dimple-cheeked beauty spent two weeks at Dawn at the Meadows in Arizona for alleged alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug abuse.
