Celebrity besties Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato ditched a glamorous film party to invade a high school prom in Canada last week.

The girls were in Toronto on Thursday celebrating the launch of their new Disney made-for-TV movie The Princess Protection Program when they decided to check out a prom at nearby Etobicoke Collegiate Institute.

Security guards allowed the 16 year olds to sneak into the event — where they took to the dance floor to show off their moves.

Prom night came to an end for Demi Selena at 11PM, after the girls were asked to leave by school officials because they weren’t students.

“PPP (Princess Protection Program) peeps and I crashed a prom tonight and danced with a highschool!! amazing!! I finally had prom!” Selena wrote excitedly on her Twitter blog Friday.
