The new season of Scrubs will premiere Dec. 1, ABC announced Wednesday. Big changes are in store during the ninth season of the veteran comedy series, including the ditching of its hospital setting and the introduction of a mostly new cast.

Scrubs returns with back-to-back episodes Dec. 1 @ 9PM , moving to its regular Tuesday 9 p.m. time slot the following week.
