Scarlett Johansson Male Nipples Confusion
Perhaps Ryan Reynolds should explain the origin of male nipples to his wife Scarlett Johansson. The actress has revealed that she is both fascinated and baffled by men’s nips.
The He’s Just Not That Into You actress says she can’t understand why boys still have them.
“The one thing I don’t understand about men is nipples. I don’t know if there is one aspect of men that I don’t understand other than why they have nipples,” Scarlett told The Chicago Sun Times.
“Honestly, why? I guess it has something to do with the X chromosome. What is the function of the male nipple? Maybe we all start as androgynous creatures and then they become men?”

Urmmm, Scarlett…. Men have nipples because we all start off as girls before we’re even made. Then we eventually change or stay as girls.
Thats why men have nipples. I’m 12 and even I know that!
Dont worry though, everyone has blonde moments (not against bondes, as I am one!).

No, men DON'T start off as girls.
There is a common genetic 'blueprint' where we all start as neutral or androgynous.
Then at about 6-7 weeks the sex determination kicks in, which switches on hormone production.
Result is that by 14 weeks sex of the foetus is clear.
To put it plainly, think of mammalian foetal growth as a production line. say for threaded pipe.
First the pipe is formed from raw materials, then further along the line someone flips a switch to decide whether the thread is outside (male) or inside (female).
If it were done differently you would need two distinct production lines, one male, one female.
Simple economics.
Additionally, if men and women were formed as distinct beings, we would almost certainly be separate SPECIES, unable to reproduce.
Not much fun in that.
