MTV Video Music Awards 2007 hostess Sarah Silverman returned a scathing comic review of Britney Spears’ highly-anticipated but incredibly low-key 2007 VMA opening performance.
“Was that incredible? Britney Spears, everyone,” Sarah said. “Wow. She is amazing. She is 25-years-old and she’s already accomplished everything she’s going to accomplish in her life. It’s mind blowing.”

By calling Britney’s children “mistakes” Ms. Silverman was bashing Britney, not her children. The comment suggests Britney was too irresponsible to properly assess her life and realize she was in no way apt to be a mother, or perhaps that Britney did not have the capacity (was too drunk, high or just stupid) to remember to ask K-Fed to put on a condom.
I know those are mean things to say about a person but I’m sorry, I’ve had quite enough of Britney spears. She’s someone who for nearly a decade has dressed and danced like a whore, while marketing to a target audience of pre-teen girls. If Ms. Silverman’s comments upset you, take comfort in the fact that I’m sure Ms. Silverman bears no ill will to Britney’s children and instead feels as badly for them as I do.

Sarah was bitchy, but why defend Britney. She didn’t try. Her performance was brutal and an insult to all her fans. She just gave everyone the big fuck you with that crappy “performance.
