Sarah Palin vs.David Letterman — Letterman Palin Feuding Over “Sexually Perverted Joke”

Sarah Palin lambasted comedian David Letterman Wednesday for making “sexually perverted comments” about one of her teenage daughters.

On Monday, the star of CBS’ the Late Show With David Letterman joked of the former GOP VP candidate’s recent visit to New York City, “During the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”

Madame Governor hit the roof.

“Laughter incited by sexually perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is … disgusting,” the Alaska governor said in a statement.

Dave responded to the feud brewing between the two on his show Wednesday night, remarking that hewas referring to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, who recently gave birth to a son out of wedlock despite her mother’s
high-profile abstinence advocacy.

“We were, as we often do, making jokes about people in the news,” Letterman explained.

“These are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter. I would never, never make jokes about raping or having sex of any description with a 14-year-old girl. Am I guilty of poor taste? Yes. Did I suggest that it was okay for her 14-year-old daughter to be having promiscuous sex? No,” he said.

Her daughter happens to be now 18 years old…an adult in the eyes of the law and most sensible people. She has also been obviously sexually active since WAY before that! Palin and her family as celebrities are legitimate targets for comedians or anybody else. I didn’t see any mention of rape in those jokes either, more like consensual sex with Alex Rodriguez and ex Governor Spitzer. The more I see and hear of this Sarah Palin bimbo the less I am impressed by her! Get a life Governor…and please keep your dumb ass up there in Alaska…and God bless you!

That was not a joke. It was a low down dirty comment from someone who is not a gentleman who should be laughted off the stage.

I’ve never watched you and will never watch you in the future for that matter. Mr Letterman, you would kill someone if they said something like that about one of your children. Remember, the Bible says that we will “be held accountable for every evil word we speak”. How many does that make for you????.

In behalf of women everywhere, I repeat you are no gentleman. My grandson who lives in Anchorage says Paliin is a great governor. You, Mr. Letterman, are not worthy to shine her shoes.

If the only daughter who was at the game with Sarah Palin was the fourteen year old, then Letterman is way out of line in not clarifying that he was referring to the eighteen year old, Bristol.

If Bristol was at the game then the jokes are ok, and not unexpected seeing that the Palins paraded Bristol and Levi during her campaign.

I believe that Letterman was not referring to the fourteen year old in those jokes.

Oh please – Palin very well knew he was referring to Bristol. It is her habit to try to mislead and lie – she did it during the campaign repeatedly and it didn’t work, and she’s doing it now, and it won’t work. The sorriest thing is that she could not care less about what effect it might have on her young daughter to hear her mom lie and misrepresent like that.

If she were honestly outraged, and blasted Letterman for being unfair or cruel to Bristol, I’d have some respect for her, but to try to make it seem he’s slandering her youngest when it’s clear he’s not is shameful.

Palin’s not dumb but she is extremely ambitious, and she doesn’t care who she uses – even her own children.
