Sarah Palin Speech Ratings 40 Million Republican National Convention

More than 40 million people tuned in watch Alaska Governor Sarah Palin introduce herself to America on Wednesday night.
Preliminary figures have the Republican Vice Presidential candidate bringing in a larger audience than the one for Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama last week. An estimated 37.2 million people watched Senator John McCain’s running mate on either ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel or MSNBC, according to Nielsen Media Research. PBS estimates about four million viewers were glued to their tubes for the speech.
Senator Obama had 38.4 million viewers on the commercial networks.
Governor Palin trampled Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden, Senator Biden’s speech to was watch by approximately 24 million people.
