Thank God for people like Sarah Palin there are alot of hard working women like Sarah out there but people like Oprah don’t know anything about that. Some people have to kill their food and clean it to servive . That she will never understand about. Those are the people that will make it when times get hard and they will and it’s closer than you think!!!!!!

Sarah is a lovely woman and certainly didn’t need a $4,500 make-over. And by the way..who lets this information out? If I don’t tell my husband what it costs to have a beauty treatment…why would I report it to the local news media?? I think that little extravagance cost her some votes as it shook my trust in someone that professes that she is one of “us common folk”. Sorry Sarah but I have a black skirt just like yours and it only cost $49.99 and unless I let the price tag hang out…no one would know that I bought it at Target and not at Sak’s. What were your handlers thinking when they did that?? Maybe it would have been wise to tell them to return the clothing and get sensible. If the rest of us have to tighten our belts…why shouldn’t you?? I’m just sayin!!!

I think Opra should have her on and open up the audience to questions. If I were there here is what I would ask her:
1. Why would you bring a fragile 4th mo. old baby into an arena with 10,000 + germ infested people?
2. Why didn’t you make your handlers return the clothing that cost $150,000? Did anyone ever stop and think that that money could have saved several familys from losing their homes?
3. Why are you pushing the theme “Drill Baby Drill” when you know whatever oil that is found will go to the highest bidder? (I’ve been to the Alasken Pipeline and the info is that only 17% of that oil comes to us..The rest goes to Japan.)
4. If you become V.P. have you given it much thought that this is not a 9 to 5 job and you will rarely get to see your small children for the next 4 or possibly 8 years?

I think it’s crap that Oprah “introduced the public to OBAMA” can you say endorsed. And they say if he, Obama wins that Oprah truly rules the free world. I will not watch Oprah, because I’m too busy working for a living and trying to show my children that TV is a treat and not a babysitter. If she can Introduce the world to Obama she can at least have McCain on so she can put him down in front of everyone. Have a great day at work everybody…..

Gina, well stated. It’s nice to see that there are others who take the time to inform themselves about a situation and make structure comparisons and comments. NourishedLife, take five minutes to turn off the Oprah show and learn some grammar, as well as how to type and use spellcheck. It’s ignorant & uneducated trash like yourself sitting around all day on the couch while watching Oprah that will be the downfall to our great society someday. And Lee Eric, I disagree.

Who cares what Oprah does? I am so sick of hearing it…life will go on…even though Oprah says no. Oprah has gotten too rich or something. I don’t like her at all any more. She thinks she is so great, that she thinks she can even advise people on how to get to heaven, in her book. She may be a rich b_____, but she is WRONG!!! She believes there are MANY ways to get to heaven, however the bible says there is only 1 way and that is through Jesus Christ. What a terrible influence she is having on people. I know Satan must be so proud of her, since she seems to be working for him.
