Sarah Palin Backs Miss California Carrie Prejean

On Wednesday night, conservative Alaska governor Sarah Palin released a statement slamming “the liberal onslaught of malicious attacks” against Miss California Carrie Prejean.
The 21-year-old who first sparked controversy for broadcasting her “nay” stance same-sex marriage at last month’s Miss USA pageant, was allowed to hang on to her title — despite the recent leak of several semi-nude and topless photographs.
“I can relate, as a liberal target myself,” Palin said. “What I find so remarkable is that these politically-motivated attacks fail to show that what Carrie and I believe is also what President Obama and Secretary Clinton believe — marriage is between a man and a woman.”
“I applaud Donald Trump for standing with Carrie during this time,” she continued, “And I respect Carrie for standing strong and staying true to herself, and for not letting those who disagree with her deny her protection under the nation’s First Amendment Rights.”
“Our Constitution protects us all — not just those who agree with the far left,” Palin wrote in conclusion.
Earlier this month, Governor Palin placed a call of support for Prejean, commending the young woman for her courage.
Wait, who asked for her opinion on this? If you want to be taken seriously as a politican, Madame Governor, act like one. Since when are nude picture scandals and beauty pageants matters of political concern.

There is nothing wrong with a governor commenting on this.
