Sarah Jessica Parker is in talks with Warner Bros. to star in The Ivy Chronicles, a story about single upper middle-class woman in cosmopolitan New York City. Sound familiar?
Based on Karen Quinn’s novel of the same name, The Ivy Chronicles follows the life of Ivy Ames, an Upper East Side woman who goes from riches to rags after a financially-crippling divorce. Ivy later starts a business to help women get their children into elite kindergartens.
