Sarah Jessica Parker is terrified leaving her reportedly troubled 11-year marriage to actor Matthew Broderick will leave her penniless.

The relationship is reportedly on the rocks following allegations that the Ferris Bueller star cheated on SJP with a 25-year-old New York women, but Sarah is giving the marriage another try because she doesn’t want to lose her multimillion dollar fortune.

Sarah, 43, is reportedly worth $220 million during her 30 year career in showbusiness; her earnings have far outweighed Matthew’s during their marriage, which has prompted the Sex And The City star’s fears that Matthew will walk away with a significant chunk of her fortune.

“Sarah’s family were poor when she was a child. She had seven brothers and sisters and she’s often talked about missing out on birthday presents when she was young. It seems she’s freaking out over the thought that Matthew could walk away with an enormous sum of money,” source close to the pair has revealed to Britain’s Look Magazine.

Sarah and Matthew have a six-year-old son named James Wilkie.
