Royal Family Has Prohibited Sarah Ferguson From Appearing On “Celebrity Rehab”
Sorry, Dr Drew: Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the Royal Family have forbidden embattled Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson from appearing on the presently-shelved fourth season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab. Tattling tipsters tell The National Enquirer that a cash-strapped Ferguson was recently forced to turn down a $1 million deal to appear on the addiction-themed reality series at the insistence of the British royals.
A snitch spills: “Sarah was absolutely ready to do it, but received calls from both Prince Andrew and a representative of the Royal Family, threatening to cut off all ties with her if she appeared. Initially, she’d turned down the Celebrity Rehab offer, but when they sweetened the deal with an extra quarter of a million dollars, Sarah found it too enticing to reject. Andrew laid down the law, ordering the mother of his children to end ALL negotiations immediately. In the end, Sarah decided the money just wasn’t worth all the trouble it was going to cause.”
On the brink of financial ruin, Sarah was publicly shamed when she was caught selling access to Prince Andrew in a bribery sting set up by a British tabloid in May.
On a brighter note, the Original Fergie is still in discussions to appear as a business consultant on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.
