Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock is trapped in the middle of a bitter custody battle between her husband and his porn star ex-wife. Jesse James, Sandra’s other half, is determined not to let his ex-wife, adult film star Janine Lindemulder, gain custody of the daughter they share.

Jesse and Janine are going toe-to-toe in fight over their five-year-old daughter Sunny, who currently lives with Jesse and Sandra. The Proposal star is standing by her celebrity mechanic hubby as he fights to retain custody of Sunny.

Janine was recently released from prison after spending six months behind bars for failing to pay more than $200,000 in back taxes. Jesse James has had sole guardianship of the child since Janine’s tax evasion arrest on March 1, but now that Janine’s out of the pokey, she wants her daughter back. If only it were that easy. You see, Bullock and James have already filed court papers accusing Lindemulder of hanging out with a dangerous crowd that could put the 5-year-old in jeopardy. The couple wants ful custody of Sunny.

“What would give her the right to take away my daughter?” Lindemulder asked Good Morning America Tuesday. “I am the best mother I can be. I absolutely have made horrific choices in the past.”

But Jesse isn’t convinced Janine’s days as a wildchild are behind her. In court papers filed with Los Angeles Superior Court on October 29, Jesse claimed that ex-wife Janine Lindemulder had violated a court order given October 13 preventing her from allowing the child, to have contact with her new husband, Jeremy James Aikman – who is a convicted felon.

“Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if (Sunny) will be safe with (Lindemulder). She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments,” James said in a statement to the court.

Sandra, who at 41 has no kids of her own, recently admitted that she relishes her role as stepmom to Jesse’s three kids, but Janine says she won’t give up her little girl without a fight.

“It hurts tremendously. The accusations, especially from Sandra, hurt even more so because we have never sat down and talked. That’s the one thing that I wish more than anything, a remedy for what’s happening here, is just communication.”
