Samuel Bartley Steele Bon Jovi $400 Billion Lawsuit (“I Love This Town”)
Iconic rock band Bon Jovi is being sued for a whooping $400 billion by a Massachusetts-based musician who has accused band frontman Jon Bon Jovi of stealing his lyrics.
Samuel Bartley Steele claims Bon Jovi plagiarized his 2004 song “(Man I Really) Love This Team” to create their single “I Love This Town.”
“I know I’m the little fish and they’re the big fish, but they f**ked with the wrong piranha. I want credit, acknowledgement and an apology. I know that I’m right,” Bartley told the Boston Herald Monday.
