i think its beyond sad.would you sell your soul for money and fame?even though most people would the average imbicile never gets the opportunity.and so we sit back and grow old and watch and wait until the devil comes to collect.then we will know.we will understand in the next ten years or so when these types of people begin getting ill and dying of brain cancer.remember lyle alzado?nobody on earth loves baseball more than me.but even though the era of steroids made it the most exciting time in baseball history was it worth it?

why would someone bleach their skin especially with global warming on the rise? once those temperatures start to soar everyone will want to be black.

Diego, you made some good points, but it was severely overshadowed by your typing and lack of correct grammar. It’s okay to use internet slang and such, but **wow**, tone it down a bit!

I know dark skin is an issue in Latin culture, but Sammy has enough culture and enough money to have been around the world and back. He should be past that issue by now. He doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. The steriod thing was blown MUCH too far out of proportion. So much of his record and skill have absolutely nothing to do with steriods. They can only enhance his batting… if you know anything about baseball, you know that batting isn’t even close to everything.

Sosa should be the one to set an example for other dark Latins facing the same self esteem issues.

So Diego, you made some good point, but for someone like Sosa, it’s no excuse.

Self hate is never right.

Personally it shuldnt matter wat sammy does 2 hisself it his business n ppl r jus nosy ok he bleached his skin wow it his life not sayn it rite or anything but it his biz he didnt nobody or do sometin harmful but 2 himself so y wuld u care y get frustrated at a person who done nodin 2 you dat da prob wit ppl now a days accept ppl for who dey r if dey make 2 alternate sumtin n der life ppl change der apearance all da time contacts hair dye hair cut plastic surgery etc so all u calln dem fake if u change urself only for ur personal happiness r u fake tha ansa no n i understand y he did it bcuz lighter skin is major issue n da latino culture especially wit dominican n puerto rican me bein boricua it always ben a issue grownin up n it stil is so sammy if u want 2 bleach ur skin dat ur choice so go ahead it ur life y shuld i care n 4 all da haterz can ya find sumtin beter 2 do den 2 hate on sum 1 u dont no im out

He doesn’t look better dark or light IMO..He is old anyways, maybe he wants to reinvent himself..I mean if he really hated himself that much why did he wait until he was 41 to do it.

I agree with the comment above mine looking WHITE does not make you WHITE…he has issues…bleaching ur skin one shade lighter because of all the sun damage is fine but he went ALL out including the grey color contact lenses…
