Check out the smoldering new movie poster for the upcoming espionage action-thriller Salt, starring Liev Schrieber and Angelina Jolie.

In the film helmed by lensman Phillip Noyce Angelina Jolie plays Evelyn Salt — a CIA officer accused of being a Russian sleeper spy. Initially, the lead role in Salt was given to Tom Cruise, but was later rewritten for Jolie when Cruise dropped out.

Salt hits theaters July 23, 2010.
