If you’re a “Momma’s Boy,” Ryan Seacrest may have a job for you. The “American Idol” host will serve as executive producer of a new NBC reality series, entitled Momma’s Boy, the network announced on Sunday.

“Anytime I make a decision either personally or professionally, I have to ask myself…what would my mother say? Like it or not, I am a true momma’s boy. She is the most important woman in my life and she is never short of opinions. This series throws mom right in the middle of all the drama. Its loud, it’s wild and it’s real,” Ryan said in a statement released by NBC.

The series shadows a group of mothers who must choose a bride for their overly-dependent sons. The bachelor sons, their moms, and the potential brides-to-be will all be living under one roof during the series.

Who says there’s no future in television for thirty year olds who live in their mothers’ basements?
