The “Hard-Working Man In Hollywood” is clearing is busy schedule to provide some much needed guidance — Nudge, Nudge —to Hollywood’s most troubled redhead. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest spent Thursday night in the company of Lindsay Lohan. When roving photogs caught up with Ry this afternoon and asked why the two were spending time together, Ryan insisted that he is simply mentoring the 22-year-old alleged jewel thief.

Mentoring…So that’s what they’re calling it these days?

“I’m trying to, you know, give her guidance,” Ryan told a cameraman for TMZ. “She wants to sing. She loves to sing. Dude, you know she’s a singer. Come on.”

Ryan added that he is very impressed with Lindsay’s vocal work.

“She’s good,” he said.

According to X17 Online, Ryan and Lindsay hung out the actress’ home, where loud music was heard blaring, for several hours before neighbors called police over the noise.

After a visit from the fuzz, at approximately 3:30 AM, the two reportedly went to Ryan’s house.
