Here is American Idol host Ryan Seacrest as a chubby-cheeked schoolboy. The TV star looks a far cry from his smart suits and chiseled features that adorn the TV screens of US viewers. These exclusive yearbook photos from Peach Tree Junior High School and Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, Georgia, show the Idol host wearing an American football strip and posing for his graduation picture. Seacrest, 33, has admitted that he was teased about his weight at school and revealed he weighed 180lbs at the age of 13. Fellow students laughed at his size and nicknamed him “chunky”. Instead of going out he preferred to stay indoors and listen to the radio, making his own cassettes and giving them to his parents Gary and Constance to play in the car. He knew he wanted to be a DJ from a young age and began hosting the morning announcements at Dunwoody High School, but was still anything but a star. “I wore braces and glasses and was fat and got teased about it,” he said. “But I was always very ambitious.”
