Ryan Seacrest Considering His Own Network

“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest and entertainment giant AEG are in talks to take over VH1 Soul.

And if you’re all “what the hell is VH1 Soul?”, well, that’s why it’s available for a take-over.

Seacrest’s apparently wanted to launch his own music, pop culture and lifestyle-oriented network for a while. How he’d have time for it is anyone’s guess — in addition to “Idol,” the guy already has a gig on E!, hosts a popular daily radio show, and produces “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (that last one we really could’ve done without).

He’s 36, makes about $55 million a year, and is pretty much taking over the media landscape as we know it.

At least Oprah waited until she was in her 40s to pull that crap.
