Ryan Jenkins Dead — “Megan Wants A Millionaire” Murder Suspect Suicide
A reality personality suspected of strangling and mutilating his ex-wife has been found dead. The body of Megan Wants A Millionaire contestant-turned-fugitive Ryan Alexander Jenkins was found in a hotel room in Western Canada on Sunday, Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed.
Hotel staff discovered the 32-year-old investment banker — who won the third season of the VH1 series I Love Money in March — hanging from a fixture in his suite, according to RCMP Sgt. Duncan Pound.
It appears he “took his own life.”
“The hotel staff had gone in to check on him… it would be speculation to say how long he had been in there.”
On August 20, law enforcement officials in California issued an arrest warrant for Jenkins, who was facing murder charges in connection with the death Jasmine Fiore. The former model married and divorced Jenkins — in a span of thirty days — after the pair met in Las Vegas last spring. Fiore’s mutilated body was found stuffed in a suitcase and discarded in a trash bin in Buena Park, Calif. on August 15. Her teeth and fingers had been removed, leaving her breast implants the only possible means of identification.
