Russell Brand “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” Remake (Frank N Furter Role)

British comedian Russell Brand is expected to take the lead role in an upcoming remake of the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
According to reports, Brand is being courted to on the role of transsexual scientist Frank N Furter, originally portrayed by actor Tim Curry.
“It would make sense for him to be Frank N Furter,” says a spy.
Russell Brand appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall earlier this year. He will host the 24th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, live from Los Angeles, next month.

The movie doesn’t need to be remade in the first place, it’s great the way it is. MTV will only ruin it. There are certain movies in this world that can be remade (like The Producers…the new one was amazing), and there are movies that need to be left alone. Rocky Horror needs to be left alone.

i dont think the film should be remade, and if it was, i wouldnt choose Russell Brand to be Frank.
i love the original version loads, and the remake would just insult its memory. Nobody can step into Tim Curry’s stockings, so to speak.

Same, brand would be just about my only choice, but MTV is going to make an abomination, and I’m sorry he will get some of it on him.
