Russell Brand is being sued by Victor Sneed, a Los Angeles pedestrian who claims the star mowed him down with his car in January 2012.

TMZ reportedly obtained a copy of the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, which claims that the Get Him to the Greek actor was driving “negligently” when he collided with Sneed. While the documentation does not give details of any specific injuries, it indicates that Sneed suffered personal injury, property damage and incurred hospital bills as a result of the accident

The plaintiff is seeking $25,000 in damages.
