Rosie O’Donnell returns to daytime television this week. The comedienne will appear on a one-hour episode of Rachael Ray on Friday, May 2nd.

“It was a wonderful place where women could exchange intelligent ideas. … But what I learned from this is that it’s much better when I’m the boss,” Rosie told Rachael of her short tenure as a co-host on The View.

Rosie is currently promoting her new book, Rosie O’Donnell’s Crafty U: 100 Easy Projects the Whole Family Can Enjoy All Year Long, in stores now.
