It appears that relationship troubles have surfaced between Kate Moss and her boyfriend, Pete Doherty. The culprit? Drugs — and lots of them.

According to PEOPLE magazine, Doherty has battled drug addiction for many years, landing in and out of jail several times throughout his life. Meanwhile, Moss has had her fair share of problems, entering rehab last fall after pictures of her allegedly snorting cocaine surfaced in London tabloids.

The famously on-again, off-again couple has been seen in recent months as definitely “on-again,” kissing and canoodling all over England. However, the evening of August 17th led to Doherty being thrown in jail, due to drug related charges. On September 4th, his sentencing will determine whether he gets a prison sentence.
