Fashion maven Victoria Beckham is creating a limited edition collection of designer dresses with French designer Roland Mouret.

The collection of ten designs, which is provisionally titled the Little Black Dress collection, will be exclusively stocked at some of the world’s most upscale retailers.

“This is going to be immense for Victoria. Her denim and sunglasses ranges have been hugely successful but this takes her profile to another level. Roland Mouret is a hugely credible designer. For him to agree to team up with Victoria proves she is a real fashion force to be reckoned with in her own right, and not just a celebrity name,” a spy reveals.

“They spoke regularly while Victoria was on tour with the Spice Girls and he has been highly impressed by her ideas so far. She can’t believe she has finally achieved her dream of becoming a fully fledged fashionista.”
