‘Robsession” Lives: Robert Pattinson — best known for playing mysterious and immortal vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight films — is getting a new makeover, courtesy of the world-famous Madame Tussauds Museum. Artists at the renowned wax archive are in the final stages of a waxwork crafted in the likeness of the English heartthrob.
“Robert Pattinson is one of the hottest celebrities in the world and we have been inundated by requests to make him at Madame Tussauds London,” says Liz Edwards of Madame Tussaud’s London. “We are delighted that we’ll be able to give fans the chance to to meet their idol and pose for pictures with him. They can even give him a kiss on the cheek which I’m sure will be a big hit with his female followers!”
The figure has taken about four months to complete and cost nearly $300,000. Can you imagine what would happen if you knocked that thing over? We can’t wait to see the finished product. Robert Pattinson’s wax figure will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds Museum in Times Square on March 25. A second wax figure of Robert Pattinson will also be made for Madame Tussauds London.
Pattz joins an elite group of stars who have been immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds locations across the globe, including Madonna, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, The Jonas Brothers, Angelina Jolie, Diddy, and Miley Cyrus.
