Robert Pattinson Rude & Demanding, “Remember Me” Cast & Crew Complain
Robert Pattinson has turned into quite the hellraising primadonna on the New York City set of his upcoming movie, Remember Me, if the grumbless of crewmembers are to be believed.
“Rob’s just rude,” one set snitch, who asked not to be identified, snapped in chat with the Aug. 3 issue of Star. “The fame is really starting to go to his head.”
Workers on the set of the movie complain that the 23-year-old British box office star is “aloof and stuck-up,” routinely sending support staff on ridiculous errands and ignoring the hoards of adoring fans who regularly line the streets of Manhattan, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the star.
“I don’t know what the guy’s problem is,” whines another member of the film’s crew. “He goes from his trailer to the shoot and completely ignores all the fans who have been waiting around to see him. It’s so obnoxious.”
The big screen heartbreaker — who reached superstar status after appearing as vampire Edward Cullen in last winter’s box office smash Twilight – has grown accustomed to doling out orders like a Greek god, sending employees on tedious errors in the stifling summer heat, crewmembers scoff.
“We had a couple of really hot days on set, and he wanted a specific kind of water, an iced lemonade, all this stuff that we didn’t have. So this poor assistant had to run around getting all these things. He wasn’t even thankful.”
With recent reports claiming Rob is a “lousy tipper,” the actor is also meeting with the displeasure of New York City bartenders.
“He walks in here like he owns the place,” fumes an employee at the Big Apple’s Bowery Hotel, where Pattz and his crew frequently stop in for drinks. “This one waitress treated him like a regular customer, and he flipped. He was really upset that she didn’t recognize him…”
