Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart allegedly spent the night together. The 23-year-old British actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the hit film – was seen checking into a Los Angeles hotel with Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, after sweeping the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night.

The pair dined at Cecconi’s until around 11pm, where they were accompanied by police escort to The Charlie Hotel in West Hollywood.

A celebrity gossip tells X17online: “Robert was preoccupied with getting all of his stuff in the car and Kristen was hiding behind her sunglasses, looking a little tired, but waiting to say goodbye. Right before Robert got in the SUV, the couple stood together behind the car door and I’m pretty sure there was a brief kiss!”

Kristen, 19, has previously blasted reports she is romantically involved with Robert. “It’s just totally false. Robert and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him,” says the actress who has been dating actor Michael Arangano for several months.

“And it’s like, I know the guy really fucking well. It’s only natural that we sort of lean on each other, because we’re put in the most fucking psychotic situations.”
