Robert Downey Jr., who is presently experiencing a career surge after the success of his action-hero adventure Iron Man, is in talks to portray Hugh Hefner in a new film about the Playboy founder’s life. A representative for the actor said he is interested in the project but is unlikely to commit until a script is completed and a director is named.
