Rob Schneider Thinks Pharmaceutical Industry Killed Robin Williams

The shocking suicide of comedy trailblazer Robin Williams sparked an international dialogue about depression and how to reach out to loved ones who may be suffering in silence.

Rob Schneider, on the other hand, hopes Williams’ passing will also inspire conversation about the pharmaceutical industry.

If you ask the Actor-Formerly-Known-as-Deuce Bigalow (not that you did, but if you did), prescription drugs are likely culpable in the Mork and Mindy star’s death.

In a series of controversial blurbs sprouted off into the Twitterverse Monday, Schneider argued that Williams’ suicide could have been a side effect of the prescription pills that Williams may have been taking to treat Parkinson’s disease.

Robin’s widow revealed last week that the actor was in the early stages of the debilitating neurological disorder. It’s unclear, however, whether or not Williams was on any medication for Parkinson’s at the time of his death.
