Rihanna vs. Paul Heyman — Singer Accused Of “Stealing” Barbed Wire Cover Art From Wrestler
Wrestling legend Paul Heyman has slammed Rihanna for allegedly ripping off his idea of being wrapped up in barbed wire for the single cover for her current comeback single “Russian Roulette.”
On Thursday, the former Extreme Championship Wrestling honcho posted pics on his Heyman Hustle website, hoping to prove Rihanna swagger-jacked the idea from his 1998 cover jacket featuring a grappler called Sandman.
“The entertainment community is abuzz about Rihanna’s new album cover, where the once-but-never-again-almost- Mrs.-Chris-Brown is wrapped up in barbed wire, with her right arm in the air, and blood dripping on the cover design. Hmmmmmmmmmmm……… is this familiar to anyone?” a furious Paul thundered
“It’s pretty obvious this was copied from, or at least EXTREMELY inspired by the ECW album cover,” says Paul, who refers to the pop princess as a “bloody thief.”
“From the barbed wire and the right arm up in the air to the blood dripping off the logo. Hey, I don’t blame them. If you’re going to copy someone, copy from the best. By the way, Rihanna… you’re welcome!”

That’s a bit of a stretch… So are we supposed to believe that the ECW folks stole the idea from every random hick’s arm? (or Pam Anderson).
