We now know what Rihanna was doing in Big Apple last week. The islander flew stateside on April 2 to visit six-year-old Jasmina Anema in her hospital room at NYU Medical Center.

Jasmina, who is one of Rihanna’s biggest fans, is suffering from a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Rihanna is one of numerous celebrities who have been diligently searching for a bone marrow donor for the young girl.

According to PEOPLE:
“She’s really here!” Jasmina exclaimed when Rihanna came in, shoeless, to prevent the spread of germs, and hugged her. “You are such a beautiful little girl,” Rihanna told her.
