Rihanna’s scheduled concert in Malaysia this Friday has been cancelled following reports that the singer was attacked by boyfriend Chris Brown in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Reps for Rihanna informed Malaysia’s Pineapple Concerts that her February 13 show would be postponed to an unspecified date “in light of recent events involving Rihanna,” Pineapple Concerts said in a statement to The Associated Press on Tuesday.

According to Los Angeles Police Department sources, the 20-year-old Barbados-born singer has visible bruises, scrapes on her face, and even bite marks on her body.

Rihanna had been slated to visit Indonesia and Malaysia on the Asian leg of her “Good Girl Gone Bad Tour.” Her Kuala Lumpur show created controversy late last year after organizers threaten to can the show over Rih-Rih’s signature skimpy outfits, which violate Malaysia’s strict rules on performers’ dress.
