Rihanna is ready to speak out for the first time since being assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown last February.

Rihanna will sit down with Diane Sawyer in an interview that is scheduled to air on Good Morning America on Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6 @ 7AM ET — an extended interview will broadcast on Nov. 6 @ 10PM ET on the ABC newsmagazine 20/20.

“The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other,” Rihanna tells Diane. “This happened to me… and it can happen to anybody. He was definitely my first big love.”

According to ABC News, Rihanna will also talk about her family life, growing up in Barbados and how life has been for her since her split from Brown, who was sentenced to five years of probation, community labor and one year of domestic violence counseling.

Rihanna’s first interview since the assault also coincides with the release of her new album, Rated R, which drops Nov. 23.
