Rihanna Billboard Record: Rihanna “Take A Bow” “Second-Biggest Jump In Billboard History”

Rihanna made Billboard history on Thursday as the Barbados-born beauty’s new single “Take a Bow” lept fifty-two places to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, it is the second-biggest jump to the top in the chart’s fifty year history.
Maroon 5 still holds the record for biggest Billboard jump in history,t he band’s 2007 track “Makes Me Wonder” made a sixty-four to one jump in just one week.
Interestingly enough, Rihanna recently teamed up with Maroon 5 on remix collaboration of their track “If I Never See Your Face Again-” the single debuted at No. 57.
“Take a Bow” is one of four new songs on an expanded CD/DVD edition of Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” album, due June 17 via Def Jam.
