Nicole Richie continues making great strides in her effort to “help the less fortunate” while reforming her once notorious bad girl image in the process. Harlow’s mom is working with some of the best web designers in the industry to create a look for an online gift registry for the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, a charity, founded by Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden, that counts supporting low-income mothers and their young children as its main mission.

“She’s hired some pretty high-powered consultants to advise her and put it all together,” an insider dished to the New York Daily News on Thursday.

“The Web site will be a registry, like for a bridal or shower registry, where low-income women list things they need for their babies. More well-off people will then go on and buy stuff for the children.”
