Revelations Perfume Prince “3121 Fragrance” Lawsuit

A New York-based perfume company is suing pop music legend Prince for $2.5 million, claiming the singer and his music publisher failed to honor a contract to help market a fragrance named for the star’s 3121 album.
The breach-of-contract lawsuit, filed by Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics Inc., says it licensed Prince’s name, likeness, and the album title 3121 to market the scent but claims that Universal and Prince have failed to participate in various promotions for the product since its launch in July 2007.
