Word on the curb has it that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are pulling the plug on their popular E! spinoff show Khloe and Lamar so the hoopster can focus on reviving his fleeting NBA career.
The show, which premiered to blockbuster ratings in March 2011, could become the first Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff placed on the chopping block.
The now ex-Los Angeles Laker was traded to the Dallas Mavericks as part of an unprecedented (failed) deal to bring NBA star Chris Paul to the City of Angels last December. And its been all downhill from there.
“Sources tell TMZ, the show’s second season will be its last…because Lamar wants to focus on reviving his fizzling NBA career…Lamar was relegated to the Dallas Mavericks’ inactive list after putting up career low numbers this season…But we’re told Lamar is determined to make a comeback — and he feels he should focus on only one project. Lamar will be living in L.A. full-time and he’s hired trainers to help him get his game back.”
Khloe, 28, first gained a fan following when she began appearing on her family’s ratings-breaking docu-soap Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007. The boutique owner later spun the show off with her older sister Kourtney for Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
She wed Odom after a brief whirlwind romance in September 2009.
