Old habits die hard…
Sticky-fingered actress Lindsay Lohan is at the center of another theft investigation after she reportedly stole $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of Scary Movie 5.
The troubled actress made headlines when she nabbed a small role in the upcoming comedy — but the Scary Movie team quickly became frustrated with the difficulties that come with dealing with such a “difficult” diva. LiLo reportedly had to be threatened with legal action before she would even agree to show up to film her scenes.
A Lohan mole told The National Enquirer:
“It was the talk of the set in Atlanta. The clothes were on her wardrobe racks. Some nice tops and skirts and other items were gone. I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay.”
Wardrobe staffers were reportedly unhappy about the missing clothes, but the film’s producers ultimately decided the threads weren’t worth the legal wrangling they’d take to get back. It’s not the first time the 26-year-old has gotten into hot water for her sticky fingers; Lindsay is currently serving probation after being collared over the theft of a necklace in 2011.
