Rumors about the state of Khloe Kardashian’s womb have been heating up the blogosphere since the socialite exchanged vows with NBA star Lamar Odom in 2009.
But it looks like the Mr. and Mrs. are kicking their baby-making efforts into high gear. Khloe dropped into ART Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills on Monday to discuss possibly beginning fertility treatments.
Snoopsters tell TMZ that after year of trying in vain to put some beans in her oven, Khloe and Lamar decided to evaluate her hormone levels and research a suitable course of action, including in vitro fertilization. Lamar already has two children, Destiny, 13, and 10-year-old Lamar Jr., from his union with high school sweetheart Lisa Morales.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s unwed older sister Kourtney is expecting her second child with longtime beau, Scott Disick. Khloe has previously admitted feeling under pressure to have a baby with Lamar.
In 2011, she told People magazine:
“‘Why aren’t you pregnant yet?’ That’s what scares me, when people are like, ‘Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything’s working?’ It’s nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I’m letting everyone down…”
The brunette beauty has also revealed that if Lamar is faced with another trade she will diligently follow him.
“That’s not a reason to end a marriage or even a consideration, but Hollywood has a different perception of why people break up or stay together — that’s just not in our makeup…[I'm behind Lamar] wherever he goes.”
