R&B Crooner Wants to Serenade Miss. Universe

New York City snitches are whispering that “Let Me Love You” singer Mario has it bad for the last well-behaved beauty queen in America-Miss. Universe Zulekye Rivera Mendoza.
The pair met last week when they both attended a tribute for Quincy Jones, was honored by the Harvard School of Public Health as its first “Mentor of the Year.”
Mario performed his hit “Let Me Love You” at the event held at New York’s Core Club. He locked eyes with Z several times. “He serenaded her, basically,” says a source at the New York Daily News. “Afterwards, he slipped her his number on the only thing he had in his pocket, a gum wrapper.” (How charming.)
Mario has quite the player’s reputation. Mario’s rep declined to comment.
