Lauren Conrad, star of MTV’s “reality series” The Hills, is the Top Trendsetter in the Fashion Industry-that’s the word from Radar Magazine. Radar has released it’s 2008 Fashion Influence List in celebration of New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008/09, kicking off today in the Big Apple.

“It’d be undeniable that today’s mass market has changed the balance of power in the fashion community,” Radar editor Maer Roshan. “A picture in Us Weekly of an outfit on a celebrity will gain them much more traction than a folio in Vogue, and that’s saying a lot. It’s a new celebrity culture that has affected even high fashion, and fashion has had to adjust to it.”
