
Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin has created a new reality show for the CW Network that will debut on March 6th, 2007 at 9 PM.
Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll, which will be hosted by ex-Sugar Ray vocalist Mark McGrath, seeks to add a seventh member to the Grammy Award nominated group. The eight-episode series will pit nine girls in competition to become “America’s Next Pussycat Doll.”
The contestants will share an L.A loft and be put through a series of challenges, including learning dance routines with a man and designing an orginal PCD outfit. The sixty-minute show also wants to “test their dancing abilities, vocal abilities, creativity, confidence, and style”
The nine finalists with be judged by rapper Lil Kim, Robin Antin, and Chairman of Geffen Records Ron Fair. The Pussycat Dolls’ lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger will act as “group mentor,” with the other nameless members appearing as guest-stars on several episodes.
