“Pushing Daisies” Cancelled?

Is ABC’s Pushing Daisies facing an early death?
The off-beat drama, about a pie maker with the unusual ability to return the dead to life breifly. wrapped production on its 13th episode Thursday, and industry insiders are whispering that the network plans to pull the plug on the cult favorite.
Series creator Bryan Fuller said ABC has yet to send down a verdict.
“Our ABC exec was on the set last night saying they are still swinging in the fight to keep ‘Daisies’ on the air. Spirits are high and hopeful and everyone here is very proud of our work and this show.”
However, Fuller indicated that he would finish this season’s story lines in comic book form.
Pushing Daisies has averaged 6.6 million viewers this season.

Pushing Daisies is definitely one of the few shows that I’ve become addicted to. I think they could’ve survived at least another season, seeing as how they weren’t able to complete their season last year. Oh well.
