Brittany Snow, who was simply adorable in the role of Meg Pryor on NBC’s now defunct family drama American Dreams, has been banished to the world of horrid movie remakes. The Other Brit will take on the lead role in a modern day remake of the 1980 slasher classic Prom Night, set to hit theaters on April 10th….Why do they keep remaking these tired movies and television shows from the ’80’s? What’s the meaning of this? It’s bad enough that leg warmers came back. Since there are Black people in this remake, you already know whose getting hacked first. Unless we’re talking about A Nightmare On Elm Street 3, in which “Kincaid” actually lived long enough to make it to the next sequel, the Black people in horror flicks always get it first.
