Project Runway is moving to Lifetime. The fashion-design reality show has left it’s longtime home at Bravo for a new five year deal with the Lifetime Network (Television for Women), it was announced on Monday. The Emmy-nominated Project Runway, which features a judging panel including supermodel Heidi Klum and style guru, Tim Gunn, originally debuted on Bravo in 2005. Lifetime will roll out the red carpet for Runway’s sixth season this November.

The move has prompted Bravo owner NBC to file suit against Lifetime and the Weinstein Co., who will produce the show, in New York Supreme Court:

“We believe that this lawsuit is without merit,” said Weinstein counsel David Boies. “While good for the market for lawyers, it is always unfortunate when parties try to win in court what they have lost in the marketplace.”
