“Private Practice” Cancelled? Medical Series “Hanging By A Thread”
Less than a month after the collapse of her year-old marriage, celebrity chatter claims actress Kate Walsh may soon lose her job as well.
Kate’s Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, Private Practice, is in danger of being cancelled due to a steady storm of disappointing ratings, ABC network insiders reveal in the December 29 edition of The National Enquirer.
ABC is desperately trying to revive it by scheduling it after Grey’s…but “Private Practice is hanging by a thread, the tabloid wrote.

Private Practice is the only new ABC show from last season to get a full 22 episode order, so it is FAR from cancelled. Ugly Betty does worse than Private Practice in the all-important demo.
Given the show is currently stuck between two cancelled shows, I’m not surprised the ratings are low. It has no lead-in. Greys was put behind Desperate Housewives for it’s first 2 seasons.

I truly hate grey’s anatomy, i think the doctors are childish while the ones on private pracitce are like friends to one another.
