Y’all yankees don’t know about partying. It goes down in the South! Texas should be #1 no questions asked. LSU should be easily top 10, and Texas State should crack the list toward the bottom. I mean, University of North Dakota?? Really???

The problem with these rankings is that it’s truly an impossible thing to measure objectively.

For example, if credit is given for Greek participation then a school like UC Santa Barbara (#10) is marked down because most people don’t go Greek. Is this why they’re below UT Austin (#7)? I’ve spent a few years at each, and though UT can party, UCSB blows them out of the water.

If credit is given for hard alcohol consumption then a school that thrives off of cheep beer, like Chico State, is left off the list (which is a crime, I was there once on Halloween and a mob overthrew Burger King…kids were ripping the lights out of the ceiling and making their own burgers…it was awesome).

So what criteria do we use? Exactly, it’s impossible.

The real way to do a list like this would be to hire about 10 of the surliest dudes you could find, and have them travel around to a different college every weekend for an entire year. Whoever survives votes, and then you’ll have a real ranking of the best party schools.

For the “TulaneFan”..SCREW YOU! You obviously don’t go there, or at least or a geek and wouldn’t know. This will be my third year and I don’t doubt at all that all of these major state school’s throw insane parties (i’ve been to a ton of UT ones) but I go out almost every night at Tulane. No I don’t go to bourbon, but we still have insane nights esp. since the bars don’t close..ever. It’s not just Nola that parties hard, Tulane parties just as much but still has the grades. We’re a smaller school than most so I’m proud to have this list, even though it’s a list for partying that’s half the fun of college right?

First we out think you, then we out drink you! Tulane University, New orleansbaby!!

Seems like all everyone is wanting their college to be on the list. Just what every parents wants to hear their son/daughter wanting to go to the top partying college…………..and these are “our” future leaders……………hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Going against the grain of the proud “party hardy” crowd here, I’d have to say Tulane does not belong on this list. The school is actually quite focused on academics (hence the lousy sports teams). The “party” is the surrounding city itself, not the university. It’s 24-7, 365 days a year in NOLA. I pity the undisciplined student who enrolls there, but would encourage anyone looking for a great vacation to check it out.

It seems like this, the University of Georgia School of truly world-famous, but still a good school, the environment will certainly poor, students will be an enormous pressure, able to live a prestigious school, not a simple innovation, but more importantly, This caused great stress
